The only and reasonably forgotten beat'em up on CD-i. It is very long to cope with shallow combat and gameplay. Even unique design and bizarre enemies can't help. Plot - Set in 2068 after a nuclear war wipes out civilization, Earth is overrun by mutants—half-human, half-animal creatures born of the apocalypse. In the remaining cities, anarchy reigns as cyber-enhanced thugs seize power and stage the "Body Slam" hand-to-hand tournament, broadcast to millions via cybernet. When an all-human team enters, reigning champion Hectro-Genocide, convinced humans are weak and obsolete, vows to crush them.

Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun is a port of Technos' arcade classic that invented the brawler genre. Despite coming out in 1987, this game shows an astounding amount of brawler refinement: it has difficult enemies that require strategy and skill to complete, boss fights, vehicle sections, and a huge moveset that's still more advanced than most other NES beat 'em ups. It also has a catchy rockabilly soundtrack.
